Epoxy Basics Seminar Recap – Saturday, January 24
This past Saturday, January 24, we had the pleasure of hosting our Epoxy Basics Seminar, and we want to send out a huge thank you to everyone who joined us. The day was filled with learning, lively discussion, and plenty of epoxy inspiration.
The goal of the seminar was to help attendees gain confidence in working with epoxy, whether they were brand new to it or already had some experience. The room was buzzing with curiosity, creativity, and lots of questions — which we loved!
What We Covered
During the seminar, we walked through the fundamentals of working with epoxy, including:
-
Understanding epoxy types and their uses
-
Proper measuring and mixing techniques
-
Common mistakes (and how to avoid them)
-
Pour depths, curing times, and temperature control
-
Colouring epoxy with pigments and powders
-
Surface prep, sealing live edge slabs, and finishing tips
Q&A Throughout
One of the most valuable parts of the seminar was the Q&A session held throughout the day. Attendees were encouraged to ask questions as we went, which led to engaging discussions and practical solutions for real-world epoxy projects. Whether it was about river tables, bar tops, or small décor projects, every question sparked helpful insights for everyone in the room.
Hands-On Learning & Community
Seeing attendees put these techniques into practice and exchange tips with one another was a highlight of the day. These kinds of interactive sessions are exactly why we love hosting workshops — learning together builds confidence and inspires creativity.
